   This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. After a long stressful day, I put in on the sore spots and suddenly I feel the tension lift. Also, on swollen ankles, it works really well. I'm not an acupuncturist nor am I familiar with the right pressure points - I just lightly tap the sore areas for few minutes and I'm feeling great! Highly recommended product!

   I have had pain in my back and my feet for years but after using this pen I was very impressed I have fewer spells of pain but I do get the sensation through my hands when your doing it it goes up to setting 9 but I can only use setting 4 really good product. You need help with your back.

   It took a couple trys to figure out the pressure points on myself and my husband. However, once we found them! Owwwweeeee it worked magic. I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant, and having difficulty with finding a sleeping position I can stay asleep in, resulting in lots of neck pain and pressure causing headaches. Within 15-20 minutes of using the pen, I have almost instant relief from the headache. My husband works in a gym, and spends all day moving weights and equipment, and he loves this as well. For the price you can't beat the relief especially if you suffer from headaches. Once you find your pressure points and spots, it works like a charm, and highly recommend.

   This seems to work a bit like a TENS unit as far as the shocking goes, but it is more focused and hence does much more to get rid of knots. The angle can be more awkward because it is a pen style though, so not always super easy to use on yourself. It really does seem to help though. I especially like it to relax jaw muscles. Also the instruction manual and diagrams at the back are helpful.

   I do like the acupuncture pen. I purchased it to assist with my physical therapy after finger surgery. The only issue that I have with it is that applying your lubricant leaves your hand tacky and then when you operate the pen, you receive shocks on the hand holding the device. Dry your hands off, you say? The lubricant absorbs so quickly that to take advantage of it, you can't mess around. This issue is probably unique to me as I am working on my other hand. However, if you were using it on a knee, you could probably avoid the issue.
