The full photo is exactly how it looks when you open the door. By the way it also comes with a piece for the glove box. The close up photo is so you can see the material layered over door.

   Purchased a demo car from tesla and the glovebox had some pretty ugly marks in the leathrette. I thought Id need to purchase a whole new glovebox door however instead of spending 100s this cover for 10 worked perfect. Identical material match. It does come folded into quarters so I sat it under some textbooks for a week before application. Wife actually installed it with no problem and its almost an exact cut. Try opening and closing the glovebox door as you fit it to ensure no overhang. Ill be purchasing a 2nd to reapply when I sell the car someday. Been installed for a couple months in desert heat and stuck on strong.
