   I gave it to him for hunting and he loves it. He raves about the distance, the sharpness of focus and the size. He was using big binoculars and this is smaller so he can carry it in his pocket.    I was quite pleased with this monocular -- I've used many over the years and am really happy with the optic quality, comfort level and durability of this one. To be honest, I have always preferred just the tube-style monocular but am glad that I took a chance. The added knob and control makes it much easier to hold in your hand and allows you to operate it much more easily with a single hand. And the optic quality is crisp and clear. It's also quite solid feeling in your hand and has the protective caps to also cover the glass

   For such a small little cheap device you can actually zoom in on things really close. I was able to look at the moon on a clear night when it was full and could see the actual craters on it. Pretty awesome for the price but if you are expecting to see detail like a telescope, you should invest in that instead.

I can also sight birds in trees blocks away. Even leaves show up clear and crisp. Color and clarity are amazing! I was so pleased I held out for the good monocular instead of a cheaper model.
