The first time, I didn’t do that enough, and my toes ended up several inches from the toe of the sock. After the sock comes around your heel, bend your foot upward and continue to push your foot forward until your sock comes off the slider.

I have small feet so my size 5 socks worked very well. Love that slider handle keeps the sock still on the handle when removing socks and that it grabs the cradle by the hook. Yes, no more bending down. I found it was better not to slip the sock all the way down the cradle. I crunch it near the top and the sock slips on better this way.
