Notes

Once the damage occurs, cover the area with transparent adhesive tape to prevent moisture and dirt from entering the damaged area.
Damage should be repaired as soon as possible to prevent the spread of small cracks.
Do not repair it under direct sunlight.
The ideal applying temperature is 60℉ to 90℉(15℃ to 32℃). Allow the vehicle to have enough time to adapt to the temperature if it has been in a hot or cold environment.
The surface must be clean and dry for proper repair.
Do not expose the resin to automotive paint, scraper or plastic facing, otherwise, your maintenance will not be as beautiful as expected.

Was worried by some of the negative reviews but have to say I'm very impressed by this product. Had a 1-inch spider chip on windscreen and after repair the center of the chip is only slightly visible. (which I assume is normal since its the deepest area filled with resin) The spider webs are practically invisible to the naked eye. Entire surface is almost as smooth as glass.

I have only this minute finished fixing several small but potentially crackable in the winter stone chips in my screen. One was the size of a 5p. This kit was easy to use and I can hardly see anything now it’s done. Don’t get too paranoid about it having to be in sunlight etc. Autumn sun is fine and as long as you give it time to cure then it should be no issue. I would recommend using a little step ladder to get you up so you can place the device directly over the chip then the rest is easy. Well worth the money and no doubt saved me a big cracked screen once the ice arrives.

Used opened up black bin liner to create some shade and after centring the applicator, as per manual sheet, applied the resin. 20 minutes in direct sunlight and the repair is almost invisible. For such a low price it saved an excess payment on daughters insurance. Can't praise it enough.

I finally decided to treat the chip on my windscreen. However because fo the recent wet weather in UK, I have to wait for so long to find a sunny day(or half day) to actually start the work.The Whole process is not that complicated. You'll need to make sure the centre of the chip is well aligned with the centre of the holder. Then carefully follow the instructions to apply the resin and then use the razor blade to remove the residue.
