   This brand worked better for me than the Hoont brand. It has a good instruction manual included in the package. I followed the instruction to use a water flow regulator. One thing to know: It detects motion going across the sensor but not heading towards the sensor. So if the animal is moving head-on toward the sensor it might not activate. I haven't had intruders so far, since installing two of these.

   takes 9v battery. only improvement would be if water stayed on 2 seconds longer. (the knockoffs run about 6 sec, this one about 3 seconds).
