   It took me a while to figure out why it was not working even if I left it outside under the sun for a day.
   You got to open the battery compartment to connect the battery pack to the solar panel.
   Once this step is done, it’s very easy to adjust and so far it’s wirking well. I don’t know for how long cause I should say I find it a bit flimsy !

   I purchased two of these to cover my backyard and to prevent raccoons, skunks, etc from digging up my lawn. The animals are definitely scared off the sprinkler goes on as I've personally seen them quickly flee my yard when they activate the motion sensor. One thing to note as other reviewers have stated is that the threads of all of the parts are plastic and prone to leaking - just use some teflon plumbing tape and wrap two revolutions or so and you will have a perfect seal. I haven't had any leaks since which is important since I keep them on overnight to thwart off the threat of these animals.
   Not sure how durable this will be in the long run but overall I'm satisfied with the effectiveness of the system so far.

   We had a problem with ignorant dog owners who walk their dogs on a long leash and allow them to do their business on our lawn, abs ruining it . Not any more!!! We hung this beauty from a tree and when the little darlings come onto the lawn , boom!!!    I have seen mixed reviews. But it works awesome solves all my squirrel problems in a second.
   If you find the plastic pipe from the base is too flimsy for you home depot has a steel one.
   I have not however had any trouble with the unit

   We tried many ways to keep the deer away from our flowers and shrubs and we always lost. Then we tried motion sensor sprinklers. We have three different brands but this was by far the best and our reason for getting two more this year. They sealed well when assembled, they have a long stake for anchoring in the ground and they’re very dependable. They are by far the best defence with had from deer who seems choose the most expensive of our flowers and shrubs to eat. We love having the deer around but we need to find a way to discourage them from eating our landscaping ! In addition to being very effective, they use easy-to-find and relatively inexpensive AA alkaline batteries. Just remember to bring them inside in the winter. I thought I had drained all of my sprinklers well enough last year but unfortunately I found one split when I went to reinstall them this year. So from now on they’ll be staying inside in the winter.

   Works well most of the time. I use it to protect a small area and keep marmots from getting on to my patio and hottub cover. Lots of false triggers when direct bright sunlight hits late in the day.
   You also need to keep the grass cut short so wind and grass movement doesn't false trigger it. I've only had one marmot sneak past it in a month of use. Very happy with it, I just hope the plastic stands up to a summer of hot sun.

   It took a few days to discover all the settings. The instructions didn't cover any of that but I kept tinkering around with it and it's perfect! My cat hoarding neighbor has at least 8 cats that he keeps outside. They use my lawn as their box. This motion sensing sprinkler is keeping them off my lawn. The passing by cars also set it off but that's ok. My lawn is green now and cat poop free too!

   We had just put a new lawn down (sod), and along with putting caution tape around it, we wanted to dissuade deer, dogs, children from walking or running on it until it has had sufficient time to take root. My husband installed 2 of these, and they have worked beautifully! Mind you, we have to remember where to walk and where not to walk, or risk getting soaked! Lol. We explained to our neighbors what we were doing, to warn them not to walk too close! It's good that it has settings where you can turn it up or down, depending on where you want to aim it. We like the fact also, that it's not going to harm anybody, animal or human. Just get them a little wet! Lol. Thanks for a great product!
