The water tank is located at the bottom rear of the unit with a pretty large 1.8 gallon capacity. The fan has 4 speed settings and is quite powerful at the highest speed. The unit comes with a timer for upto 8 hours of cooling (in 1hr, 2hr, 4hr, and 8 hr settings).

We put water and ice in a pitcher about 30m before going to bed. On the highest level, the water lasts for a few hours and the cooler puts out really cold air. It's meant to be fairly close to the user. The air is still cool even after the water runs out. Can't beat this for the price. Very satisfied with our purchase.

   I work in a small office with no air circulation (it is in the middle of another room, so no outside windows). I have used fans historically to keep cool, but they blow my papers all around and make work difficult - plus are very loud. This little contraption is way more effective than a fan for keeping me cool, and is much more quiet and does not blow my stuff around. I still need to keep a fan around for when I have others in my office or for actually moving the air around, but this little guy makes working in my office during the summer months WAY more tolerable. Love it!

It is super easy to move around, so I can use it to cool down my room if I have a tv/surround sound playing and can easily move it to cool down my husky when she is getting hot. It’s a mini swamp cooler and performs as such. It will bring up the humidity while cooling the space. It’s just what I needed.

A full water tank can keep me cool for most of the day, by the time I have to refill its already time to go home. The unit itself is very attractive and goes really well in most settings. I actually didn’t need to turn on my buIlding AC some days as this is enough to keep my area cool. Overall, happy with the purchase.
