   I love this. It works great for my natural 3c - 4b hair types. I've even used it on the second out of 4 heat setting to get a blow out look. The first time I used it on blown out hair and used the hottest heat and only needed 2 passes. I had no heat damage either time using it. Also no fried hair smell.

   I have thick curly/frizzy hair. One thing I don't like about flat irons is how much body and volume you lose. I love the Instyler because it is so easy to put in a little body and it will smooth out my curly frizz mess. Also, you can use larger sections of hair so you are done much quicker. Flat ironing my hair can take 40 mins to an hour. With the Instyler I'm done in 20 - 25 mins. You can put a little curl into your hairstyle easily, or you can make it perfectly straight.

   This is my third Professional 2-Way Rotating Iron and my second two-way rotating but to be fair they needed to be replaced because of my own mishandling. It took some time getting used to the two way rotating iron but this is my go to for curls . It takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it you’ll probably never go back to the traditional curling iron’s because this gives a nice loose curl .

   This is one of the best hair straightening/curling tools I've ever purchased. I don't use much heat on my hair since I went natural three years ago, but I will definitely use this when I do use heat. My hair type is 4a, thick and long and this styler made quick work of straightening my coils and leaving my hair soft and silky. The instructions indicate going slow and about 2 or 3 passes for my type hair, but I only needed 1 to 2 passes with the Instyler. I will definitely recommend this to my natural hair friends.

   As an African American with natural hair for about 8 years this was actually a very good flat iron. For my roots I had to use a my regular flat iron. . . But this gives that perfect bumb at the end of your hair. To me I'm able to achieve the wrap look without having to wrap my hair. Only important note is to make sure the iron is rotating away from the direction of your head and you'll be good. I found it very easy to use.
