   My kids absolutely love these lightsabers. I have not seen any of the issues that previous posts have claimed to have with these and I have owned them now for two months. My kids are not rough on their toys so that might help them stay in good condition. I would not recommend them to somebody that wants to use them like a real battle as they will most likely break.

   Our 4 year-old grandson asked for light sabers for Christmas and we were happy to oblige. We had no idea that they would be the hit they were and are. Unfortunately we live on opposite coasts so we only get to watch him in action via Facetime, but what a joy! Our son told us he plays with them for hours!    I just received these today for my son and am super excited! I messed around with them a bit and found that one of the most common complaints is that you can't choose a color and have it stay there. NOT TRUE! Press and hold the button and you will hear a single beep. Release and then press and hold the button again and you will hear a double beep. Now you can tap it against something until you have the color you want. Then press and hold the button once more (you will hear the double beep again) and you are locked on that color. Hope this helps!!!!

   This was THE most favorite Christmas gift for my 20- and 30-something children. I could have saved a lot of money by skipping every other gift ;-) - this was a HUGE hit, and I was MOST impressed that they came WITH batteries. I'm sure younger kids would love it, too, but it really hit the spot with the older group because suddenly they felt young again (and as one said, "everybody needs a little 'force' every once in a while.") It was just FUN! Thanks also to BuzzFeed who listed this as a gift 'everyone needs' - that's how I came across it. Many thanks for putting a real spark in our holiday!

They loved the motion sensing, they felt like they were really fighting with lightsabers. The colors are very bright and pretty. Better quality than I was expecting for the price I paid.    My kids love these! Quality is surprisingly very good and durable. My son is 4 and daughter is 2. They fight with them and they get into it very rough sometimes. My husband has the $200 Disney light saber to play with them and he said the sound of his are not as sensitive as these kids saber when they strike something. They changes color and makes noise when it touches something. Instead of using it as one double ended saber, I took it apart so they each have one.

   I bought these for my girls who are really into Star Wars. The smile it brought to their faces was priceless. They swing it around and it looks really cool in the dark; best when really dark. Honestly, the blue is much brighter than the green. The sound FXs are great, particularly the power up/down sound. There is a hum while on. It would be much better if that secondary button with the weird "clashing" sounds was not there. My girls found it annoying. It's not "heavy-duty", so if anyone is going hit something or each other, it will probably break quickly. Anyway, for the money, these light sabers were well worth the price. I wish they had one in red.
