   The basket has a nice high quality design...better than expected. The bottom is fluffy and soft. This basket is more sleek that some other baskets. I also like that the front of the basket is a little lower...perfect for my little 5 pound poodle nugget to see over the front. The depth (from front to back) is also a good size. I put my other dog, 7.5 pounds, in it and it was a perfect fit for her. I can't imagine putting a much large dog in there tho. I might say, depending on the shape, 10 pounds might be max I'd put in. Then again, a more tight fit means they more around less. The basket itself seems very sturdy and durable but the straps that attach it to the basket seem a little janky

   I believe in honest reviews. In reading a lot of the reviews on this particular product I was hesitant to buy it. But after looking and exhausting everything on line I landed back with this Carrier. I am so glad I did! Our dog, Pixie, is a teacup yorkie she weighs 6 and a 1/2 pounds. I took her out for the 1st ride yesterday and she sat a little low in it and it was a little bouncy so this morning I put a towel at the bottom to raise her up a little bit and absorb some of that movement along with a hand towel on the side. It worked great! It is nice and secure on my bike it does not move.

She has never yet tried to get out, either because she's enjoying the ride so much or because she can't figure out how she can get her paws up and out since it cinches around her neck. Good construction, looks just like on the picture, nice pockets. The only problem we had, which was a small one, was due to the way my husband's bike is, we needed a longer Velcro strap to help with securing it to the bike. Got one at Home Depot. Otherwise, all good so far.
