   I couldn't be happier with this laser pointer, I use it in my classroom all the time. I can even use it to point to my t.v. screen. It is really bright and I love it. If you leave it pointed at the suitable materials I am pretty sure you could start a fire, which brings me to my next point it is really bright, that is precisely what I wanted but if you are looking for a child's toy this is not the laser pointer for you. I pointed it out the window and could literally see it shining on the top of a hill a mile away! I would highly recommend it.

   It's a very nice laser, but it is WAY too bright to play with cats or dogs with. It's rated at around 1000 mW. If you want to play with animals, use something around 50 mW, that way you will not instantly blind any animal that gets it in their eyes.

   Mounted to compliment a scope on a rifle. Some of the adjustment detents are a bit weak as in hard to feel or hear but it's held Zero just fine so far. Battery life is shorter than I anticipated but it takes a lot of power to run a bright laser. The mount required retightening but that's to be expected as the metal and paint take a set. If I could change anything about it I'd like the lense end just a bit trimmer.

   While this is not the intended purpose of this device, I had seen a video on YouTube for a device that was basically a green laser, and was used to frighten geese away. I thought that price was excessive, and found this product, which is much more affordable. And it works REALLY well for scaring off geese. I have tried decoys, reflective mylar items, just about anything and everything to keep the geese from making my lawn a disgusting place to try to walk, and none of it was effective. But they do NOT like this light! I just stand at the window and shine the light where they are standing, and they immediately fly away, or walk quickly to a neighbor's yard where the light can't reach due to trees. We used to have over a dozen geese coming in to eat the grass, and now only a couple really determined ones keep coming back, but leave as soon as I point this at them.

It can affect them so be careful. the additional adapter it came with was kinda funny. unless you ghost hunting I don't see the reason. but its cool I guess but its a laser so always be careful although it looks harmless. overall safe and I can just recharge it which is why every penny is worth it

   I purchased this to play with my dog. It is much too bright to use with pets in the dark or in the house but it works great outside in the daylight. This is good for me because his other laser lights can not be seen as soon as the sun starts to come up. The metal case is sturdy and the unit has a nice weight to it. I like that the lens is recessed so it doesn't get damaged if you drop the unit.
