   I used this product for pain relief. It was simple to use and I liked the fact I can adjust the intensity of the pulses. The only thing I didn't like is I can feel the pulses in the hand holding the device as well. But, for me at least, I found if I use it without the gel I will not feel it on the hand holding the device, only on the desired point. All in all, I liked it and keep it in my nightstand for quick pain relief.

   My 12 year old suffers from terrible back and shoulder pain. She's had testing, x-rays, MRI, chiropractor, stretching, but no cause nor relief has been found. After about 10 minutes of working on her shoulders and upper back, he muscles were more loose than I have ever felt them and she felt great. It's not a miracle tool/permanent fix, but it does provide relief. It's not relaxing/comfortable to use, but if you have even had a chiropractor use a tens unit on you then you can handle this.

   I suffer from nerve damage located on my right hip. It affects my ability to walk, and is slowly beginning to damage my left side due to reliance and over use. I took very strong opiates for 3 years and became reliant on them to get out of bed. At this point, I decided to stop taking them, and boy was that a tough couple of weeks. Now I’m terrified of prescription narcotics. I use my accupen in conjunction with a prescription antiinflamitory 3 time a week. Since I started using the two together, my the pain I have when walking has greatly diminished. The burning pain I have experienced during sleep has become obsolete.    I bought this for my mom who has neuropathic pain on her upper right extremity. You'll have to start slow and low power because it can be strong. THe only thing I would say about this is that after a while you can get high tolerance to the power and eventually you'll need something higher that the pen can't provide if you keep doing it. That's why starting slow and can help. It temporarily helps the pain especially during times that your nerves become more active than usual.

   The device works well. It takes some getting used to. I used it on my hand because sometimes I get a tight feeling in them. After finding the right setting it did make the tension in my hand go away for a while. It doesn't rid the feeling permanently. But using it for a few minutes when I have that tension in my hand relieves the tension for several hours.
