   I really like these. I'm using them on my walking boots, and they make life simpler. They are as easy to thread as any lace, you snip the ends off to length, and fit a click-shut cap on them, after threading them through the lock mechanism. There's a video online to show you how to do it. So much easier to adjust these that traditional laces, and they don't come undone, which was the main reason I bought them.

   Not had great experiences in the past with elastic laces so didn’t have high expectations for these - however, I was wrong this time. These laces worked brilliantly - used them for the first time in a triathlon and performed exactly as hoped. Nice and stretchy that gave me no problems putting on a shoe even with a slightly damp foot and the spring locking clip didn’t slip. Will be replacing all my running shoes with these laces.

   I bought one and ended up buying two more. Not as secure and quality as shoes with native boa systems, but they're hard to find at the moment (pandemic) and not on a lot of shoes to start with. The instructions are pretty poor but there are a couple of good youtube videos on how to install them. The superglue is a good tip, but make sure the knots will go into the metal joiner tube before you do so, as it's a tight fit.

   Have been using this for over a month now. The lace is sturdy and can bear weight - my shoes size is UK 12. I have no problem putting the shoe on and getting it off.
   The downside of this product compared to the stock laces is that it not as easy to tighten ; if you're going for a long run and need a tighter shoe, then you really have to pull the whole lace back and lock it, and then reset it when you're done.
   For everything else - daily use, gym etc, I found this product work very well. It never gets loose, nor is it uncomfortable. Overtime. I've adjusted it to my desired tightness and now I can just put on my sneakers like a pair of loafers. The laces have shown no sign of distress.
